Federal Government assures partner visa hopefuls on English language requirements

The federal government has rushed to assure partner visa hopefuls that Australia will not block visas for foreigners who don't pass an English language test. The response comes after a backlash from some within multicultural Australia that the measure is a return to the White Australia policy.
