An alliance of major charities are demanding that Federal government abandons proposed reforms which they say are "unconstitutional, authoritarian and anti-democratic." The charities, which include Amnesty International, Anglicare, Oxfam, the Fred Hollows Foundation and UnitingCare, have written an open letter to the Prime Minister, urging him to review the new regulations.
