In 2015 Bhumika Shrestha became the first Nepali person to travel outside the country on a passport that states her gender as 'other'. But the activist who campaigns for the rights of Nepal's LGBTQI+ communities has had to face her own struggles.


Bhumika Shrestha's released her biography early this year and she spoke to SBS Nepali about what she wanted to share through her book Bhumika.
