A New York based social organisation, adhikar, has been assisting Nepali community in US for more than a decade. Narbada Chhetri says that her team is proud to achieve many things-including formalising employments of domestic workers. As a result of Adhikar's campaign, Nepal has gained Temporary Protected Status, which now allows many Nepali to access basic facilities. The TPS was granted on grounds of the destruction that 2015 earthquake brought in Nepal.
