Melbourne-based Nepali musician Amit Pradhan is helping the Nepali music scene from his home in Australia. The bass guitarist of The Shadows ‘Nepal’, who also lends his voice to AK47 Music ‘Australia’, a Melbourne-based hard rock and heavy blues band, says “Mr. Pradhan Talks Acoustics” is a platform for musicians to showcase their talent. SBS Nepali spoke to Amit Pradhan, along with Geelong-based Nepali singer and lead vocalist for ‘Kathan Nepal’, Rupesh Jung Bahadur Singh, who participated in one of such ‘acoustic nights’, about their current projects, challenges, and the opportunities of pursuing music in Australia.
