What made Bachu Raj Khatiwada popular as “Tuppi Bajey”? Tuppi is a small tuft of hair or topknot kept at the back of the head for various cultural reasons, and bajey generally refers to an elderly man. Khatiwada spoke to SBS Nepali about his tuppi and the inspiration behind it.
