"Increase parent visa fees" - recommendation to the Australian government.

Australia's Productivity commission has recommended to the federal government to increase the visa fees for the "contributory" parent visa stream and reduce the eligibility criteria for "non- contributory" stream to those cases with "strong compassionate grounds" only. Will this help the government increase its revenue or will it stop people applying for parent visa? Immigration agent Niraj Shrestha had this to say.
