While Nepali men cricket is looking forward to playing T-20, women cricket is worrying about its existence. Lack of practice matches, in-house tournaments let alone international, and investment has to be blamed for Nepali women cricket not going forward. Sita Rana vice-captain of National Women Cricket says it is worrying that most of the players from her team have gone abroad or left playing as it is difficult to make a living by playing cricket in Nepal. Sita Rana spoke to SBS Nepali about hedges and hurdles that need to be cleared for Nepali women cricket to flourish.
