"Healthy woman means healthy family" - that's the message being given to members of Sydney's Nepali community under a new initiative aimed encouraging women to undergo regular health checks. Advance Diversity Services is one of the organization involved in this campaign, with support from Cancer Council NSW and South eastern health district. Basudha Karki, a Nepali community worker with Advance diversity services, says their focus has been getting women to get themselves checked regularly for breast, cervical and bowel cancer. Karki spoke to SBS Nepali about what the campaign hopes to achieve.
