Formed after a chance meeting during Australian composer and saxophonist Matt Keagan's 2009 Shantiniketan visit, The Three Seas brings together artists across cultures to create a fusion of Australian Jazz and Rock Reggae with Himalayan and North Indian folk music. During their current Australia tour, SBS Nepali caught up with band member Deo Ashish Mothey to talk about the band’s journey, its cross-cultural roots and how music is helping preserve the Nepali language.
