The LGBTQI+ community in Nepal has celebrated Pride Month 2022. Satira KC, Executive Director of NGO Mitini Nepal says although Nepal is considered to be open to sexual and gender minorities among South Asian countries, Nepal's law and society are still based on the gender binary concept, and much change is required.
