Preparations are underway in Nepal for the upcoming March election. Along with the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and the Army, ‘election police’ are also said to be part of the security personnel. Also known as ‘myadi police’, individuals from various professions have received training for the polls. Our Nepal correspondent Pratichya Dulal spoke with several election police officers who completed their training at Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharjgunj on Tuesday, 10 February.
