‘Protecting Everest, a shared responsibility’: International Everest Day 2025

As International Everest Day 2025 is being celebrated around the world today, Nepali community leaders in Victoria have called for increased collaboration between Australia and Nepal to address the impacts of climate change. At an event organised by the Federation of Nepalese Community Associations of Australia (FeNCAA) at the Parliament of Victoria on Wednesday, 28 May, parliamentarians, community leaders and speakers shared their insights on the effects of climate change on Mount Everest and discussed measures to address it.
