Charimaya Tamang is an activist who has been working against human trafficking for a long time. She was sold at the age of 16 and returned to Nepal from India after enduring hardship and abuse for more than 22 months. Ms Tamang has been helping other abused and trafficked women to resettle back in the Nepali society. Her work in helping other women has earned her many international awards. In our conversation with Ms Tamang, we asked her how comfortable it is to restore the lives of women who are sold and abused.
