SBS Nepali’s first-ever broadcaster Rajish Aryal (inset) recalls how it all started in the early 2000s.

In 2003, SBS began broadcasting in the Nepali language, marking a milestone for the ever-growing Nepali-speaking community in Australia. Rajish Aryal, who spearheaded the Nepali program for over 15 years, spills the beans on the beginning of SBS’s Nepali service.
