‘Superhero for few seconds’: Rajeev Bhusal's work turning mundande into humor

Just before the microwave beeps - Rajeev Bhusal opens its doors and he feels like a super hero, proud that his flatmates don't wake up in the middle of the night because of the noise he's making in the kitchen. This is a scene from Rajeev Bhusal's short film The Noodles or Chau Chau. Bhusal is the sole actor, writer, director, producer of the film. He spoke to SBS Nepali about his short films and his ideas about turning the mundane everyday things into comedy.
