Alina Tamrakar, who has been spreading public awareness about domestic waste management for almost a decade in Nepali and other communities, recently organised a program on 'Organic Vermicomposting'. She says that the waste from the house can even be given as a gift to friends and family. She spoke to SBS Nepali about the benefits of vermicomposting and how earthworms play a huge role in helping humans to reduce landfill waste.
