Sydney has been named as the least affordable city for renters in Australia. In a report published in the Rental Affordability Index, Tasmanian city of Hobart takes the second spot after Sydney, where people living alone are said to be spending up to 97% of their income on rent. The bi-annual report highlights young people and pensioners among those struggling to pay their rent. How are Nepali students in Australia coping with the issue of rental affordability? Bijay Sapkota heads the international students association and spoke to SBS Nepali about the problems faced by students in Australia.
