‘Year of the Horse’: Gurung community marks Tamu Lhosar in Australia

The Gurung community has bid farewell to the Year of the Snake and welcomed the Year of the Horse. SBS Nepali spoke to community members in Sydney and Melbourne during Tamu Lhosar events organised by Tamu Samaj Sydney and Tamu Samaj Victoria, who say they are committed to carrying traditions forward despite challenges in teaching language and culture to the second generation.
