A Nepali language school has been started in the Australian state of Tasmania targeting primary school aged children from Nepali background. Called "Pathshaala", the school will not only help children learn Nepali language and culture but will also connect them with new friends says its coordinator Punam Panta. According to the 2016 Census, Nepali is third most commonly used language in Tasmanian homes after English and Mandarin.
