Turnbull government increases required points for General skilled migration visas

From 1st of July 2018, permanent residency applications for General Skilled Migration visas will need a higher "pass marks", under new changes to the migration act implemented by the Turnbull government. The changes mean any applications made on or after July 1 will require applicants for independent and nominated skilled permanent visa and regional sponsored skilled visa to fulfill the "pool and pass mark" of 65 points.
