UN‘s ECOSOC presidency for Nepal: ‘Both opportunities and challenges’

The Nepali Ambassador to the United Nations, Lok Bahadur Thapa, was elected president of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in late July. Nepal correspondent Prayas Dulal spoke with Bishow Bijaya Parajuli, a former UN Resident Coordinator/Resident Representative for Myanmar and Zimbabwe, on this development.
