Volunteers play a significant role in Australia, but numbers are dropping

This is National Volunteers Week, running from 19 to 25 May, with the theme ‘Connecting Communities’, which celebrates the significant role volunteers play in building stronger communities and in helping people connect with others. We spoke to one such Nepali volunteer, Bishnu Ghimire, who says volunteering gives him immense self-satisfaction.
