"Walking for welfare", but is it enough?

Members of Sydney's Nepali community have marched together to raise awareness about domestic violence and mental health within the community. The event titled "Walk for welfare, walk for women was held in southern Sydney suburb of Brighton Le Sands was organized by the Australian branch of the Non Resident Nepali Association. Do events like these have meaningful impact on reducing domestic violence? Do they help create awareness about issues surrounding mental health? Pratigya Adhikari was the co-ordinator of the walk and Indra Ban is a long serving member of the community. Here's what they told us about this question.
