When will Nepal's stolen artefacts in Australia return home?

The rare stone statue of Laxmi-Narayan believed to be 800 years old was stolen in 1984 and later spotted at the Dallas Museum of Art. The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) handed over the statue to the Nepal embassy in Washington, USA, on 06 March

As a centuries-old Laxmi-Narayan idol stolen from Patko in Kathmandu valley returned home from the USA, Nepalis want their stolen artefact from Australia. Roshan Mishra from the Nepal Heritage Recovery Campaign, an organisation working to facilitate such repatriation efforts, spoke to our Kathmandu correspondent Sewa Bhattarai.
