"Why I left Australia to contest Nepal election"

Saroj Kharel lived in Australia for few years and worked as a journalist for a Nepali newspaper, until one day he decided to pack-up and go back to Nepal. He then joined Naya Shakti Party led by former Prime Minister and Maoist leader Babu Ram Bhattarai and is now contesting the provincial election from Nawalpur in Nawalparasi. Saroj Kharel spoke to SBS Nepali about his decision to take part in the election.
