Children from Nepali language schools across Victoria took part in the second inter-school Nepali ‘Hijje’ competition organised by Hamro Community on Saturday, July 4 2026. SBS Nepali spoke to Hamro Community President Prakash Aryal, along with some participating students and parents about the program and their thoughts on preserving Nepali language among younger generations.
