The University of South Australia is launching a new Masters of Reserch Grant for Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander Islander nurse and/or midwife wishing to undertake post graduate research.
The Grant includes trips to and from anywhere in the country to the university in South Australia including accommodation.
Professor Marion Eckert Director of the Rosemary Bryant Centre at the University of South Australia says the Masters of Research grant is targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people anywhere in Australia.
“They can study and stay wherever they want provided their research topic addresses an issue or a challenge faced by the local Aboriginal and Strait Island community,” professor Eckert said.
The Grant will be available in 2020 subject to formal approval by the University of South Australia up to just before Christmas in 2019.
