"There is a place between sea and sky - a sacred realm, where the sun rises and falls, and the light is new."


Bangarra brings together Deborah Brown a proud descendent of the Wakaid Clan and Meriam people in the Torres Strait, Moss Te Ururangi Patterson a Māori choreographer and Arts Laureate, and Kulka by Sani Townson's from Saibailayg (Saibai Islander).

Deborah Brown, choreographer, dancer, director and actress talks about the meaning of the upcoming production and some of the beginning stages of collaboration such as this.

Together in a cross-cultural collaboration the choreographers, sound, lighting, costume department and performers will bring together the production of Horizon in 2024.
