Black Rhymes Aboriginal Poetry Night is Sydney’s leading performance event for Aboriginal writers voicing Aboriginal perspectives on mental health and healing.

Their performance is part of events taking place at the NSW Art Gallery all week marking Mental Health Festival 2019.

The performance will be hosted by Evelyn Araluen a Big Anxiety ambassador, award winning poet and spoken word artist.

Starting at 7.30 the event will feature powerful and transformative poetry by First Nations poets Lorna Munro, Alison Whittaker and Luke Patterson.
