As auditions for the famous dance troupe open, recent graduate, Donta Whitham, shares his experience
Young First Nations dancers have an opportunity to dance with the world famous Bangarra Dance Theatre: as the Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Russell Page Graduate Program applications are now open.
Dancer Donta Whitham is the program’s 2024 graduate. Donta talked to NITV Radio about his journey and his experience with the program that changed the course of his dance career.
The program is accepting applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance graduates or early career artists between the ages of 18-23. The application period will close on Monday, 2nd September 2024.
