MatchWorks Deadly Yakka program for Indigenous job seekers was first held in Preston (Victoria) in 2014 and is now delivered nationally across six states; with the most recent one delivered in Perth on February 21.

Glen Duncan, MatchWorks National Indigenous Liaison says since its inception, Deadly Yakka has connected hundreds of First Nations job applicants to meaningful employment in various sectors thanks to its holistic approach.

“Deadly Yakka has been tremendously successful in helping hundreds of participants secure new jobs and careers, and we’re proud to be making an important contribution to a better and more equitable future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders,” Glen Duncan said.
