First Nations communities and organisations around Australia are rallying in solidarity with the Yuendumu community and other communities who’ve suffered as a result of police brutality and violence.

The action follows the death of Warlpiri man Kumanjayi Walker who was shot dead last Saturday by NT police.

It is the second police shooting of an Aboriginal man in a matter of just 2 months. More than ten rallies are taking place across Australia to express outrage and anger about this police brutality.

Crowdfunding activities are also being organized to support the Yuendumu community. Collected funds will also cover the deceased's funeral costs.
