Farmers push for a 'fair go' on milk prices

Parts of Australia’s farming sector have been devastated by drought and bushfires which have killed thousands of livestock and razed hundreds of thousands of hectares of land. It’s only added to the strain many dairy farmers are already under due to the extremely low price of milk.

Farmers say, the situation is crippling their industry beyond repair. Now Queensland's dairy industry has launched its own campaign to encourage consumers to only buy milk that gives farmersa "fair go".
