Professor Chelsea Watego debunked the narrative of a welcoming Australia in her First Nations keynote address – Another Day in the Colony – delivered at the Welcoming Australia Symposium.

The Welcoming Australia Symposium was convened (Melbourne 09/05/-11/05/2023) by Welcoming Australia, a movement that aims to cultivate a culture of welcome and create a future where people of all backgrounds have equal opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive.
