Kuku-Yalanji and Gumbaynggirr man, father and cultural mentor Jeremy Donovan supports the Stop it at the Start campaign whose objective is to help break the cycle of violence against women and their children.
Jeremy Donovan is one of Australia’s most celebrated keynote speakers, a father and cultural mentor. He is also one of the key opinion leaders supporting the Stop it at the Start campaign.
“It is important to be part of this campaign because respectful relationships in our communities start with us as the elders or as the leaders in our communities and we have to set an example for our kid’s model and behaviours,” Jeremy Donovan says.
He adds that he wants his children to be the most respectful people they can possibly be. But, he believes it is his duty to pave that pathway for them.
The Stop it at the Start campaign is an initiative under the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children 2010-2022.
