NITV’s Rachael Hocking caught up with Ken Wyatt, Minister for Indigenous Australians, in the sidelines of the National NAIDOC Awards Ceremony.
Ken Wyatt is the first Aboriginal man to lead an Indigenous affairs department in Australia’s history. But it is a department with a new name: Minister for Indigenous Australians.
“What’s good about the changed title is, it means I have responsibility for our people. It is about our mob,” Ken Wyatt told NITV.
