A group of Maori leaders in Melbourne’s west are on a mission to keep the community’s youth out of trouble, as concern grows over the rise in visa cancellations.
The Maori Wardens patrol shopping centers, bus stations and public events, discouraging antisocial behavior and reconnecting youths to a culture that they say for many has been lost.
