First Nations graduates are invited to apply for employment in the inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Graduate Program (University of Queensland – UQ).

The Vice-Chancellor’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Graduate program is open to First Nations graduates from across the country in all disciplines.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) Professor Bronwyn Fredericks said the successful candidates will be supported by mentors, coaches and tutors, and will work in supportive, flexible environments.

“We’re seeking exceptional Indigenous graduates with vision and passion,” she said.

“They can come from anywhere in Australia. They don’t have to be UQ graduates, and they don’t have to stay within the boundaries of their bachelor degree study areas.”

University of Queensland will provide successful candidates with a tailored structure allowing them to develop the necessary skills to succeed in their chosen career.

This inaugural program has 4 openings as part of University of Queensland’s Reconciliation Action Plan.

Applications close on Monday, January 28. More details can be obtained on the University of Queensland’s website.
