Brisbane-based barrister and Warramunga man Lincoln Crowley has been sworn in as a judge of the Queensland Supreme Court. Justice Crowley is the first Indigenous person to be appointed to a Supreme Court bench in Australia - The Fair Work Commission says the minimum wage will increase by 5.2 per cent – The World Health Organisation considers whether to declare the monkeypox outbreak a global health emergency - The U-K government's plan to send asylum seeker boat arrivals to Rwanda stalls.
