NSW Greens say police filling 'quotas' for personal searches

The New South Wales Greens party has revealed what it calls a "quota" of personal and strip-searches that police are ordered to conduct over 12 months.

The number is close to a quarter of a million, and it was obtained under a Freedom of Information request.
