A one day forum at Sydney University promoting high expectations, positive cultural identity and Indigenous leadership.

This was the focus of The Making Tomorrow Forum hosted this week by the University of Sydney.

The one day forum was facilitated by Indigenous education expert and 2016 NAIDOC person of the year Professor Chris Sarra from the Stronger Smarter Institute.

The forum shared best practice solutions in Indigenous education with key stakeholders in education and student support services.

Professor Sarra wants people to understand that participants were not expected to walk out of the Forum with the ability to change the world or to change things right across Australia.

The purpose of the forum was to provide the kind of skills and knowledge that will allow participants to change the world around them first.

The forum also allowed students to better focus on their education and career pathways.
