Sacked Ceo of Mabunji Aboriginal Resource Indigenous Corporation (MARIC) has had a recent court matter dismissed in the Federal Court of the Northern Territory.

On December 23rd 2015, Michael Gravener attended an Interlocutory hearing that was issued by the Federal Court, in attempt to have the court order him, to return documents to MARIC.

It is believed he is holding documents that are owned Mabunji Corporation.

A further hearing will be set to try and have Mr Gravener return the documents to MARIC.

This hearing has been held in response to Gravener's attempts to uncover issues with governance and financial irregularities within the corporation.

Mr Gravener exposed his allegations of corruption to the Office of the Register of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC)who then published a report into the previous administration of MARIC.

Michael is calling for a Royal Commission into the administration of Indigenous organisations and says it is the people of Borroloola who are footing the bill.
