National Commissioner for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Young People, Sue-Anne Hunter, opened the Garma Education Forum with a keynote speech on day one of the festival.
Sue-Anne Hunter reflected on her first year in the role, as she spoke about the importance of culturally safe education for First Nations children and made a commitment to return to Garma each year to continue the conversation.
