Ten years later, are we any closer to Closing the Gap?

After ten years, and billions of dollars, the campaign to improve the lives of Indigenous people within a generation is facing failure. The federal government says it's committed to the ambitious Closing the Gap strategy outlined in 2008 - but it's unlikely to meet the deadlines it set for itself. As it prepares to hand down its tenth Closing the Gap report, it has conceded a refresh is needed.
