A protest held in Alice Springs had Town Camp residents speaking out against the government decision to withdraw a tenancy management program from the Central Australian Affordable Housing Company.
The Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation are concerned that the loss of contract for Town Camp Management will increase the risk of homelessness for the communities and unemployment for housing workers .
Central Australian Affordable Housing Company Ceo, Sally Langton says her workers have been successful in the Town Camps communities for five years and this has kept people housed for longer.
