A new child and family centre is under construction and set to open in Larapinta this year, one of the fastest growing regions in Alice Springs.
The Larapinta Child and Family Centre will become one of it's kind in the Northern Territory, providing seventy new long day care places, with quality education programs for children and their families.
These programs assist parents to actively engage in their children's future.
Northern Territory Education Minister Peter Chandler says the first steps in early childhood development, sets a child up for the rest of their life.
