Tyrelle Berryman, a Nhulunbuy man, is carving his path in the screen and media industry through Fee-Free TAFE studies.


In a conversation with NITV Radio, Tyrelle reaffirmed his desire to continue growing his career in the screen and media industry.

“Fee-Free TAFE has enabled me to further grow my skills and experience through a Diploma of Screen and Media. It’s important for me to continue studying and growing as a person, but also to access additional opportunities for my career in the media industry,“ Tyrelle Berryman said.

His journey is marked by practical experiences and network connections. Recently, he seized an opportunity to work on an upcoming Netflix series, transitioning from location crew to Assistant Director.

Along the way, Tyrelle has interviewed First Nations music celebrities and built strong media networks, showcasing the possibilities of Fee-Free TAFE for First Nations individuals aspiring for a thriving career in media.
