'Unsettle' delivered by Digi Youth Arts program gives young artists the freedom of expression.

Unsettle is an artist in residency at the Queensland Museum. The program invites a group of young, talented Aboriginal and Torres strait Islander artists to develop a range of skills in the arts sector.

'Unsettle' provides an opportunity in film, street and visual arts, theatre and music. The students are encouraged to draw on objects from Queensland Museum’s State Collection for inspiration, to deliver works in Unsettle.

Anthro Apology is the theatre component of Unsettle which involves 18 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Young people.

Written and directed by Alethea Beetson, she hopes to provoke questions about the colonial nature of collections in galleries and museums.
