Balupalu Yunnipingu from the Yothu Yindi Foundation says the current treatment of children in custody is disgusting and there are laws on how children should be treated and supported with their culture to avoid incarceration.
Balupalu Yunnipingu is the cultural Law Man for his family and oversees protocols with his family to hold the custom of ceremony of the Garma Festival 2016. This year the theme for the festival is Wanga Ngaraka Ga Bundurr - 'The Land Is Our Backbone'. July 29-August 01, 2016.
